Barbara Haskew is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of experience in family practice, urgent care, orthopedics and surgical assisting. Barbara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 1995. She worked for 12 years as an RN in the operating room, establishing herself as in expert in the field with the distinction of Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR). In 2010, she returned to school to obtain further surgical education to become an RN First Assistant and worked in partnership with an orthopedic spine surgeon for 4 years. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated summa cum laude in 2014 from Maryville University. After a year of FNP experience with a busy specialty orthopedic office, Barbara began practice with Family Medical Center in 2016.

Barbara’s areas of interest are orthopedics and the holistic pursuit of both physical and mental wellness. She strongly believes in education and partnership with the patient as the most beneficial and rewarding path to good health. Barbara resides in Peachtree City with her three teenagers and enjoys traveling and the outdoors.
