Family Medical Center uses digital X-ray technology, which uses less radiation. This provides fast turnaround of images and gives us the ability to manipulate images for more accurate readings. We follow the highest safety standards with minimal exposure to radiation. We use digital X-ray to diagnose broken bones, certain lung conditions (e.g., pneumonia), and certain abdominal conditions.
